This is my very first post on Leaflet. I love the editor so far. Looks like I can embed images easily?
And yes, Markdown syntax just works! This is the UX I was looking for.
(I mindlessly opened an issue because _underscores_ don't work, oops)
Anyway, my point is that I want to go all-in with ATProto. It's capturing so much developer enthusiast.
Not a new trend of course. Why now then?
For a few reasons:
I want to go back to blogging again. But not just blogging: I'd like to share my favourite scrobbles, conference talks (also my own), backport old content... In general, build my online presence.
I'm super inspired by the innovation happening in ATProto apps, not just the protocol itself. For example, look at this blog post from Tangled. Threaded conversations! Stacked pull requests! Or just Leaflet itself. This editor I'm writing on now is beautifully simple.
I logged into Bluesky with a custom PDS from the start, so all the data lives on my own server. I want to explore creative ways of displaying it.
Enough for now. See you very soon!
